Founded in 1951and originally housed in a tent, Pitlochry Theatre is now occupies a beautiful building with a magnificent setting on the banks of the Tummell surrounded by the spectacular hills and mountains of Highland Perthshire.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre presents a wide range of plays from farce to comedy to tragedy as well as folk music from such nationally known artists as Aly Bain. A different programme is presented each day of the week.
